MORE BLUE CHALCEDONY

I've been playing with the new Gaffer color: Blue Chalcedony (G1095). At first I wasn't sure if I liked it, but I decided I do. I LOVE IT. I like the blue undertones instead of the red of regular G109.
This is the first bead I made with it. I didn't get a lot of different colors in it and no crackling (what looks like small lines and circles). I like it though. Just a pretty blue. I mentioned somewhere that one thing I really like is the dark ends that you can get when using gravity to shape the bead. I first noticed it in this bead. You can see this bead has dark navy ends, almost black.
In this bead I didn't get a lot of crackle (some at the bottom), but I got some great purples.

This bead is the same glass, really, but look at the difference. I really worked on this bead long and lots of marvering to get the colors to pop and to get the crackle (didn't get much). It has some very pretty deep colors.

Finally this heart bead got a lot of crackle effect and the colors just popped.

Wow, these beads are beautiful!!! I would love to have an 20" vase with this same technique.
